PSA Picket outside Wanderers Cricket Stadium

The Media Review Network congratulates the Palestine Solidarity Alliance for the timely court intervention in the Johannesburg High Court, which will allow the Alliance to picket the 60th Anniversary celebrations of the establishment of the Apartheid state of Israel. The initial application was turned down by the Johannesburg Metro Police.

Picketing is scheduled for between 5 and 8pm this evening (7th May 2008), outside the Wanderers Cricket Stadium on Corlette Drive, Illovo. The public is urged to support the picket by turning out in large numbers thereby showing solidarity with Palestinian course.
