I was struck by the number of unusually pessimistic reports on the deplorable state of the American and world capitalist economy in the July 20 New York Times. But in the days following, the bad news only got worse.

Al-Nakbah Exhibition : Invitation to press conference

Salahuddeen.com  will hold a press conference on Friday 16th May at the Ocean Conference Centre, Marine Parade, Durban - at the official opening of the 4 day Al-Nakbah Exhibition. Dr Zweli Mkhize (KZN Minister of Finance) shall be called upon to open the multimedia event.

The press will be taken on a special tour of the exhibition by internationally invited guests. Among the guests are social workers from Gaza in Palestine and doctors from PIMA (Palestinian International Medical Aid).  This will present, firsthand the experiences in the occupied territories.         

The violation of The International Declaration of Human Rights by the state of Israel will be highlighted via the Al-Nakbah Exhibition, whose central focus is that of the 60 years of Palestinian expulsion.
